Turf Capture
🏔️ Expand Your Territory
Every player starts from a headquarter and can expand their territory by attacking and capturing neighboring turfs. Capturing territories is essential to grow your criminal empire, increase your operational capacity, and establish dominance.
To capture a new territory, players have to:
- Pick a turf to attack - a turf that is adjacent to the player's current territory
- Assign scouts to initiate attacks on a new turf
- Deploy up to 10 gangsters for the attack
- Battle the defending forces (gangsters deployed by the system or other players)
If victorious, the new turf is captured successfully.
⚔️ Battle system
Battles are fights between the gangsters stationed on two opposing turfs.
Winning depends on two key factors:
- The number of gangsters you deploy
- The types of gangsters you deploy, each type has its own strengths and weaknesses. Smart crew composition heavily influences the battle outcome.
You can launch attacks against two types of turfs:
- Free Turfs:
- Unclaimed territories not owned by anyone.
- Capturing them means facing off against the gangsters stationed by the system.
- Player-Owned Turfs:
- Territories controlled by other players.
- Attacking them means facing off against the gangsters other players have stationed for defense.
In both cases, if you win, you can capture their turf and take it as your own.
🔫 Attack types on player-owned turfs
There are three types of attacks that a player can choose from when launching against players-owned turfs.
Capture
- Allows you to take control of another player’s turf
- Turfs under raid protection can still be captured
- No resources are looted, this attack is purely for claiming territory
- Requires scouts to execute
- A turf give you 5 additional space for your recruits
Raid
- Used to loot resources from a neighboring turf
- No scouts needed
- You cannot capture the turf, this attack is solely for stealing resources
Capture and Raid
- A combined attack to both capture the turf and loot its resources
- Requires scouts
- If successful, you gain ownership of the turf and take a portion of its cash and weapons
🛡️Attack Limitations
- Players can launch up to 6 attacks per day.
- The attack limit resets every hour and fully resets in 6 hours.
- You can send a maximum of 10 gangsters per attack.
- A turf can hold a maximum of 10 gangsters.
- However, your HQ can hold more than 10 gangsters, allowing you to defend strongly or prepare for multiple attacks.
❄️Cooldown Periods
- New Turf: After capturing a new turf, the turf goes into a 10-minute cooldown before it can be attacked again.
- Raided Player: After being raided, the player who has been raided receives 2 hours of protection from any further raids by other players. Their turfs can still be captured but their resources will not be raided.
